Wellsite Stratigraphy
Moody-Sandman Associates have over 30 years experience working in the oil fields of North Africa (Libya,Tunisia).
In addition to our laboratory and field services, we have experienced well-site biostratigraphers available to provide the client with lithostratigraphic, biostratigraphic and sedimentological analyses and interpretations at the well site.
Services include the identification of casing and coring points, picking and identifying intraformational time lines, key unconformities, thin section studies of biofacies, horizontal drilling control, the detection of repeated sequences, daily well-site reports, palaeo-environmental interpretation and the determination of terminal well depth.
